SanMar is a major U.S. wholesaler of blank apparel and accessories for screen printers, embroiderers, and promo companies.
MY ROLE
I collaborated with my Design Director as well as a UX Designer from SanMar to create a complete design system for the SanMar.com platform, including working Figma prototypes, components, and documentation.

MY ROLE
I collaborated with my Design Director as well as a UX Designer from SanMar to create a complete design system for the SanMar.com platform, including working Figma prototypes, components, and documentation.
Since the components were built in Figma, I was able to create working prototypes based on the existing web layout using the new design system. This allowed me to test how adding or removing warning messages and promotional banners would impact the overall structure and usability.
A particularly challenging aspect was handling the high information density. In some instances, data tables were embedded within dropdowns nested inside accordion sections, requiring careful attention to hierarchy and usability.
A 20-page documentation file catalogs all of the visual assets and provides SanMar’s designers and developers with info about how to use the system across their website.
